Word Online is our online ministry: the teaching and life of Bethesda, wherever you are. Not everyone can be with us on Cavendish Road every Sunday: some are housebound or unwell, some are away with work or family, and some would simply like to get to know us from a distance first.

Everything here is free, nothing asks you to sign up, and you are always welcome to move at your own pace.

Why Word Online

A church gathers around the people who come through its doors, and rightly gives itself to them. But Jesus told of a shepherd who left the ninety-nine to go after the one that was missing (Luke 15:4).

Word Online grows out of that same care: a way to keep reaching the people we cannot see from our seats. The friend who slipped quietly away, the neighbour who has never come in, the member who can no longer make the journey. The people we can count on a Sunday were never the whole of who this church is for.
