Bethesda is a friendly evangelical church in the heart of Felixstowe. We are an independent church, in fellowship with other independent churches through the FIEC.

We live to bring glory to God by being and making disciples of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Who is Jesus?

"…the good news about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God." Mark 1:1

Most people have heard about Jesus Christ. Most religions revere him as a miracle worker, moral teacher or even a prophet sent by God. Even those who do not claim to have any religion acknowledge that he existed and afford him a certain amount of respect. We believe the New Testament witness goes much further: that Jesus is the eternal Son of God, who lived, died and rose again so that anyone who trusts in him can know forgiveness and eternal life.

The day-to-day life of the church is led by our pastor, supported by a group of elders and deacons drawn from the congregation. Short bios will be added in due course.
